Mindfulness Practice Group for Chronic Pain & Illness

There is something special that happens when taking refuge in a group, in gathering with like-minded people who are seeking to discover a way to find community and relief when living with chronic pain and illness.

Community has a way of opening the heart and relaxing the body and mind. Pain can support deepening our mindfulness meditation practice and living more in the present moment. Learning to live with our experiences, the way they are, can create peace and ease in the presence of pain and illness. 

​

In this group session, we will have:

  • a place to expand our mind with mindfulness principles such as acceptance, surrender and compassion when in the company of others who are looking for the same thing

  • a place to slow down, quiet our nervous systems and embrace what can be so unpleasant.

  • time for sitting and walking meditation and exploring together the teachings that come with chronic pain and illness.

 

All are welcome and having prior meditation experience is encouraged. Each session is $15 or what you are able to offer.
