My Approach
I see myself as a guide, support and teacher for individuals and couples who are looking for answers that come from just living life - our pain, disappointments, lack of self confidence, being with difficult emotions and transitions, and finding self compassion.
My hope for therapy is more than creating the absence of symptoms and problems - it is that therapy brings aliveness, joy, ease, true happiness, peace and vibrant health.
In 2007, I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation through a program called MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), which was life changing. Since then, I have studied many aspects of mindful principles, meditation, and Buddhist Psychology, which I have integrated into my work. I offer guidance on how to apply mindfulness to the challenges my clients face in their own lives. Mindfulness-based psychotherapy has a way of helping us learn how to have pain and a sense of well-being, stability, and ease all at the same time.
If somehow my words, my presence here, has touched you and you think I might be part of your healing, please contact me and we can speak in person, by phone or over Zoom.
